The painting The Adoration of the Magi was created in the 17th century as the work of the Flemish school, a painter from the circle of Frans Francken II. It shows Mary with the Child sitting on a platform in radiant glory above her head. Behind Mary, shown in profile, standing against the background of a fragment of the building of St. Joseph. One of the kings is kneeling in front of the Child sitting on the Mother's left knee. This gray-haired old man gives a golden vessel, placed a modest crown and scepter in front of the Madonna's feet. A young boy is supporting his long, gold-braided coat with an ermine collar. In the background there is the second king, a man in the prime of life, with a turban on his head and a vessel in his right hand. Finally, the third king, dark skinned, with a modest crown on his head, holds a vessel with myrrh in his left hand. The scene is presented against a golden background, with two little angels looking down, leaning against a cloud. The painting is probably from a home altar.
