Donor Janis (MacDermot) Hartman served as a Girl Scout leader in the 1980s while her daughter was a scout in troop 389, Fairport, New York. Girl scouting ran in Hartman’s family. Her mother also served as a scout leader when Janis was a Brownie during the 1950s.
