Fragment of the rim and neck of an amphora, with the start of its two handles. The edge, convexed and with an interior recess to support the tape, has a straight and elongated profile, very thickened in its upper part. The ceramic paste appears half refined, it is orange in color (Munsell 5YR 6/8) with abundant granite degreasing in which inclusions of quartz, feldspar and sheets of yellow mica appear, it has a slip, the same color as the paste. The general characteristics of the pasta correspond to the productions of the Tarragona coast.

The piece was located on the lot at Sepulcro Street, 1-15, on June 13, 1990, in the "Door Area" sector, "Old Fill" level. The profile of the piece fits the typology of the classic shape of the Pascual 1 A or classic, it is a wine container from the Tarragona coast.

The rounded edge profile corresponds to the Dressel 2 A variant of López and Martín, the most canonical, which according to these authors can identify the northernmost productions, north of the Garraf massif, the limit of the Tarraco ager.

Its peak period corresponds to the time of Augustus and Tiberius, beginning around the year 40 BC, declining from the years 60/70 AD. and disappearing at the end of the first century. For Beltrán, the phenomenon of replacing the Pascual 1 containers with the Dressel 2-4 forms, in the middle Ebro valley, occurred in the period of Tiberius, being complete in the time of Claudius.
