This object is known as ‘Baguenaudier’ or ‘Chinese Rings’.

Before the ban on the international ivory trade in 1989, for decades Hong Kong was the largest raw ivory trader in the world. Exposed for its cruelty, the trade of elephant tusks are under strict customs control.
