In June 1922, at the invitation of Fayal Sport Clube, the Casa Pia Atlético Clube football team arrived in the city of Horta. His presence in Faial, in addition to the sporting spectacle, laid the «fuse» that led to the founding of Angústias Atlético Clube (acronym AAC) on December 31, 1922.
