Anthropomorphic Idol

Figurine made up of two pieces which are inserted into the centre by means of a tenon. It represents a male figure standing up, with his arms along the length of this body and the legs placed together, with the feet missing. The surface of the head is almost rectangular, decreases towards the forehead and ends at the back, forming a straight angle with the back of the head. The face has three orifices for the nose and eyes, which would have been set in a single piece. The hair begins at the eyebrows and extends out in locks represented by incisions distributed in small flat bands, organised in a zig-zag pattern. Some strands are scattered round the ears and cheeks, as if it were a beard.
