Ariostea was acquired by Iris Ceramica Group in 1993. From the very outset, Ariostea has always been a great technological workshop, where up-to-the-minute machines and systems are created.
Romano Minozzi, who even in the Nineties continued to consider Sassuolo as the “World Capital of Ceramics”, was convinced that in order to stay at the top “it is necessary to make critical mass, in war just as in marketing and industrial strategies. That is the only way to obtain winning results”.
The “critical mass” and the entrepreneurial and industrial dimension of the entire production chain of purchasing, production and sales is the key to win over the markets.
Romano Minozzi has certainly played his part: over fifty years of entrepreneurial activity he completed twelve acquisitions and six years after Castellarano Fiandre joined his group, on 1st January 1993, Iris Ceramica took over Ariostea ceramics.
