The warehouse forms an elongated prism set in rocky soil, where it gets the material for the masonry sleeper. Over the latter, a protective sheath of pressed cork plates wraps the body of reinforced concrete of the two large vaults used to store and age wine. The architecture serves to highlight its insertion in the landscape and the building’s energy efficiency. At the top north end, near the entrance, there are social areas and a complex circulation system formed by monumental stairs of symmetric flights of steps leading to the auditorium and the hanging garden, opening to a view stretching out over the Pinhão valley.
