Arrival of the Turkish Armada. The map of Malta depicts the activity which took place when the Turkish armada arrived off Malta on the 18th May 1565

Fort St Michael attacked by land and sea. Mustapha had boats drawn up from Marsamxett and floated on the waters of Grand Harbour. Thei arrival meant that Fort St Michael was attacked by land and by sea. No prisioners were taken on either side.
