The Turkish Armada put to flight. The Turks destoyed their camps and re-embarked their troops. Suddenly and possibly because they had been duped into believing that the relief force was smaller than it actually was, some troops landed once again but were easily repulsed by the fresh troops from Sicily. the Great Siege waof 1565 was over.
