Augosoma centaurus

The largest rhinoceros beetle in Africa, with a glossy reddish-brown body, endemic to central and west Africa, such as Cameroon. The body length is of 4-9 cm. Its latin name Centaurus is a half-human, half-horse creature in Greek mythology.
