View of the unfinished arch connecting Augusta Street to Comércio Square. The arch in Augusta Street was designed by architect Veríssimo José da Costa. The constrution started at 1775 but only in 1873 was fully built. The sculptures at the top were made by Célestin Anatole Calmels. The four statues over the columns were made by Victor Bastos.
