Each of the 193 countries that signed on to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development has committed to producing Voluntary National Reviews which are to reflect a country's efforts and achievements against the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Australia delivered its first Voluntary National Review at the UN High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) on 17 July 2018. Jordana Angus is an established contemporary Wiradjuri artist who’s artistic interpretation of the SDGs can be seen throughout the Voluntary National Review. Jordana has drawn inspiration through reclaiming childhood cultural memories and connection to country to design 17 individual, yet interconnected, art strips symbolising each of the 17 interconnected Sustainable Development Goals.
