The Paraná River and its delta are suffering extreme conditions: the uncontrolled and constant burning of its wetlands and its historic lowest level. The project Microbestiario del Paraná (started in 2019) approaches this issue through a scientific-loving fusion composed of several layers or phases (initially ordered, currently juxtaposed). Phase I: interaction with the place, study of its geography and biology, texts, poems, and novels. Phase II: collection and analysis of samples in order to capture its microscopic inhabitants. These data allow the beginning of phase III, in which we generate the microbeasts as a result of the coexistence in vitro of species that in their natural environment do not have any physical contact. In this presentation, 12 biogenerators of microbeasts, based on experiments by S. Winogradsky (Phase III) facilitate the interaction and development of microorganisms from different areas, before and after the exposition to fire, as well as samples of land of the island and the bottom of the river, currently visible because of the drought.
