Environmental artist Wen-Fu Yu uses bamboo as his main creative medium, setting a large area of bamboo in a position against the wind, to create natural sounds, which represents the serenity of the return to nature.

The artist chose bamboo as his main medium after observing the qualities of bamboo very closely, and takes advantage of the fact that bamboo can often change color due to changes in the weather, to represent the rhythms of time and nature. This piece takes the form of landscaping, planting 60,000 dyed bamboo sticks into the ground, with the color shifting gradually from pink to white. The pink represents romance and pleasure, while the white represents purity. The bamboo sticks sway in the summer breeze, resonating with sound, drawing people in to the creative park in the buildings of the old Songshan Tobacco Factory.
