Bangyesurok is a collection of essays about the management and reform of the state written by a Silhak scholar named Yu Hyeong-won of Joseon Dynasty. Yu criticized the national governance of the time and suggested the strong Gusejemin reform policy (to save the country and to alleviate poverty) in his essays. He also proposed various land reform measures including Gyunjeonje (equal-field system). Bangyesurok was put together between 1652 (the 3rd year of the reign of King Hyojong) and 1670 (the 11th year of the reign of King Hyeonjong), and consists of 26 volumes in 13 books.
