The Haas workshop was without question the most famous trumpet making shop, not only in the Imperial City of Nuremberg but, it can be argued, anywhere in the 17th-18th century world. This brass trumpet is made in five pieces, held together by five ferrules of alternating length and a wooden block with red binding and tassels.
