Barrel attached to the net called ‘Mito-daru’: religious object of Japanese fishermen

This barrel was connected to the center of fishing nets as a weight and was believed to be a place where the fish god dwelled.

Found in Ogijima,Takamatu City,Kagawa Prefecture.
