This wooden sculpture, decorated with oil paints, depicts the figure of the devil accompanied by smaller imps. In folk tradition, the dominant black color of the sculpture was associated with the devil. Moreover, the devil was often portrayed in a caricatured manner to humanize the figure while simultaneously ridiculing the demonic role, which was believed to reduce the influence of evil forces.
The sculpture is presented as a single mass, with three vertically arranged figures. It served a decorative function.
