Bekele Mekonnen Nigussu, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts, Alle School of Fine Art & Design

Artist Bekele Mekonnen Nigussu is long-standing member of the Ethiopian arts community. He has served as the director of the Fine Art and Design department of the Addis Ababa University (2009-2011; 2001-2004) and as the Director of the Gebre Kristos Desta Center (Modern Art Museum) from 2008-2010 as well as being the Department Chair of the Sculpture Department at the University from 1997- 1999.
