Sagawa Art Museum
Moriyama-Shi, Japan

The source of the name “TOMOKU SHOKAN O MIRU” refers to the phase from a classical Chinese poem. For the decoration, a spatula is effectively used so that the fluting applied to the body and the lip trimmed dauntlessly give the form a rich move. It is entirely covered with a transparent glaze including a copper, a cobalt, a black glaze to create a tasteful scenery. The work is one of the “Ha no HA” series.
