Sagawa Art Museum opened in March 1998, a part of celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. The museum is located in Moriyama, the ancient district of Omi, surrounded by beautiful nature and with a view of Lake Biwa. We mainly collect three Japanese artists’ works of arts, Ikuo Hirayama (b.1930), Churyo Sato (b.1912) and Raku Kichizaemon XV (b.1949).
