Before the Bridgeman family inherited Weston Park, Sir John Bridgeman 3rd Bt and his wife, the heiress of Blodwell, Ursula Matthews, created an important garden at her family home in North Shropshire. This included the handsome summer house, its pediment carved with the couple's joint coat of arms
