Book Launch event at the 2019 edition of Ake Festival: Water Birds on the Lake:An Anthology of Afro Young Adult Fiction.

In Partnership with Goethe-Institut Nigeria, there was a book launch of 'Water Birds on the Lakeshore: An Anthology of Afro Young Adult Fiction' at the Festival. All sixteen authors were present, and each read a short extract of their work.Ranging from the fantastical to the autobiographical, from sexual awakening to the mysteries of death, the anthology, edited by Zukiswa Wanner. it showcased exciting new voices from Africa.
