Round wooden box on a low cylindrical base. Wooden plateau
resting on an edge on the inside of the wooden box. In
the middle of the plateau is a brass column. On the
plateau two round box cases (cepuk = for gambir and
tobacco), l two round boxes without lid (ceneng = for the
pinang); one sirih leaf holder (sembelung) and one lime tube
(papon), everything in brass. The foot of the wooden tray is
decorated with gilded carving as well as the upper edge
(floral motifs). Purchased fromJan Herman Beltman. Dated to the end of the 19th - first half of the 20th century
