Canada General Service Medal

A Canada General Service Medal awarded to Corporal Adam Justice. He was a member of the Whitby-based 34th (Ontario) Battalion of Infantry. Corporal Justice’s medal was awarded for service during the Fenian Raids of 1866 in the Niagara Region. The medal was not authorized by the Canadian government until 1889, so Corporal Justice did not receive his medal until the early 1900s.
