Candlestick on a tripartite foot supported by rolled volutes. Baluster shaft with numerous lacings and flattened nodus. Profit deep, iron spike for the candle, threaded, constituting an extension of the stem that holds the elements of the candle holder. Rich trimmed decorations (also as appliques) in the form of shells, rocail, campanula, flower bunches. An engraved inscription on the shield between the foot and the shaft: Joan. Jos. Vutter de Lowenfeld. Medicina Doctor. Anno 81 Aalts. The candlestick was made in a goldsmith's workshop in southern Germany or Austria.
