Card, Greeting

The Town of Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre

The Town of Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre
Jordan, Canada

A Christmas greeting card printed in colour measuring approximately 9 centimeters by 14 centimeters. The front of the card depicts an illustration of a church in the background surounded by snow covered hills, trees and birds flying in a blue sky. In the foreground there is a branch of green with two red and navy blue birds illustrated and being perched atop of the branch. On the bottom of the card there is printed red text that reads: "Christmas Greetings". On the back of the post card there is both printed and handwritten text. The handwritten text reads: "Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Grobb Mr. and Mrs. Samuel N. Fry Jordan Ont." It should be noted that Vineland was initially written and then subsequently crossed out and replaced with Jordan. It appears as though there was a postage stamp in the upper right corner of the post card given the glue residue and some tears. There is also a post office stamp on the upper right corner that reads: "Pottstown DEC 20 730PM 1909."
