Cascina Cernuschi

c. 1806 - c. 1847

Reggia di Monza

Reggia di Monza
Monza, Italy

Cascina Cernuschi is near the Lambro river, in the heart of the Valle dei Sospiri. The Cascina was originally used for breeding Mirabello horses. The pre-existing part is thus incorporated into the new building and surrounded on three sides by a large porch onto which the stables overlook. The facades of the farmhouse are well designed, punctuated by numerous windows, with shelves and outlines in relief that differ in the three floors. Since 1997 headquarters of "Carabinieri a cavallo".
