Celeste Theron is a fine arts student at the University of Pretoria and a performance artist. She founded the design collective She, along with photographer and architect Ilze Wessels. Their mission is to design products that encourage positive and constructive ways of life through the help and input of other artists that do not have the resources to promote their work. Her first series of work is titled Range One: Codified Crocheted Narratives, and is based on the craft of plastic crocheting. Items such as mats, lightshades and beach balls are produced from recycled plastic.
