Challenge Series

A cricket Challenge series was played at the WACA Ground 30 December 1986 - 7 January 1987 featuring teams from the West Indies, Australia, England and Pakistan. England defeated Pakistan in the Final.The WACA treated players, officials and their guests  to a day on the Swan River with support from Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club who took visitors to Challenger and Fisherman's harbours to view the syndicate headquarters of the America's Cup Challengers and Defenders.
