An anthology of Joseon’s 23rd King Sunjo. Sunjo’s name was Gong and his other name was Gongbo, and Sunjae was his penname. His poems followed Mandang trend. ‘Seongsihwagi’ composed in late August 1803 vividly portrays the changed aspect of Seoul of that time. His will to awaken the people expressed through the writing is by far one of the best among other kings.
