On the facade of the collegiate church in Olyka in Volyn the figure of God the Father is unusually vivid, seemingly real, moving, making a broad hand gesture inviting the faithful into the church. Above God the Father the church's façade is decorated with a relief depiction of the coronation of the Virgin Mary, and below were statues of the four evangelists.
The collegiate church was founded by the Olyka-born Grand Chancellor of Lithuania, Albrycht Stanisław Radziwiłł. The church was modeled on Rome's Il Gesu and designed by the Italian architects Bendetto Molli and Giovani Maliverna, and it transfers the best standards of the early Baroque to the Commonwealth. The sculptural decoration was done by Melchior Erlenberg and Michał Germanus. The construction works were carried out from 1635 to 1640.
