Construction toys vary in sophistication, ranging from simple wooden blocks to complex Lego sets with detailed instructions. Regardless of the skill level required, construction toys share one crucial element: their infinite, reusable quality. A child can build one structure, knock it down or take it apart, and build something new, limited only by her own imagination. Many toys do not have the same open-ended play.
