Mahogany corner chair with brown leather seat. A brass plaque affixed to the outer seat edge reads: "P. Henry / No. 1".

This corner chair is the first replica to be made of the chair in which Patrick Henry died of intussusception on June 6, 1799, in his home at Red Hill. The original chair, made from black walnut, remained at Red Hill until 1910 when it was sold at auction.
