Corrected page number and annotation by German physician Caspar Neefe in the first edition of De humani corporis fabrica libri septem (On the fabric of the human body in seven books). The Fabrica is considered one of the most important medical books ever published, and changed the way that anatomy was understood and taught.
A 2018 audit of the known copies of the first and second edition of the Fabrica by Margócsy found that while many owners found and corrected typographic errors, no single owner found and corrected all of the printing errors.
