Court Jester

Although this author’s chryselephantines are represented mainly in a humorous way which makes them unmistakable, those conceived with a more realistic and natural design show a perfect command of volumes and modelling. The presence of court jesters is habitual in Roland Paris’ work and in this particular case two of them are used to compose this pair of bookends.
