Cricket World Cup

The Cricket World Cup came to the WACA Ground in 1992. Three qualifying matches were held at the WACA Ground in this year. On 22 February 1992 England defeated India by nine runs, on 11 March 1992 Pakistan defeated Australia by 48 runs and on 15 March 1992 Pakistan defeated Sri Lanks by four wickets. Western Australia's representatives in the 1992 Australia team included Geoff Marsh.
