Dallyeong is a po worn by the King and high-ranking officials at work during the Joseon period. The color of dallyeong indicated one’s official rank, and a rank badge was embroidered on both the front and the back. The animal shown in the badge also indicated the official’s rank, in this case, a couple of cranes. Both the outer shell and the lining of this dallyeong are made of silk woven with a dragon pattern.
