Dance of the Knives

This slim oriental dancer is magnificently dressed in a warrior’s helmet, a turquoise blue crepe blouse and tight trousers in silvered bronze; the work is decorated with geometrical motives symbolising war. The statuette is representative of Art Deco because of the balance between the vertical and the horizontal lines.
