A Chinese translated version of Buddhist scripture, Daebuljeongdarani by Monk Bulgong of Tang dynasty (705-774). Darani refers to the phrase written in Sanskrit, and it is usually the case not to translate it but to recite it so as not to limit its original meaning. Estimating from the style and binding, the date of publishing seem to be around late Goryeo. Daebuljeongdarani is one of the most widely distributed daranis in Korea and it means for Daebuljeongyerae to realize Buddhist truth. A collection of Darani is called Jinunjip and in Joseon dynasty, 『Ohdaejinunjip』 which is a compilation of five different daranis was widely read.
