Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano

Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano
Milano, Italy

The panel is the work of Corrado de Mochis from Cologne, based on the cartoon by Giuseppe Arcimboldi (Milan, 1526-1593): the subject "David who wins over the giant Goliath", was conceived for the Duomo's stained-glass window V21, that dedicated to stories from the Old Testament. Today the work is on display at the Milan Duomo Museum.
