This biennale was organized by Kaiser industries and sponsored art projects in line with the foreign American policies. II. The night of September 7, 1966, the police forces repressed a massive students’ assembly against the Night of the long batons. A brutal fight took place in the Cordoba downtown area. III. They approached, heard gunshots, and saw a body falling in front of the cinemas. Santiago Pampillón was lying on the floor. He was a student and worker at the Kaiser industries. A policeman had shot him three times in cold blood. Five days later, his death sealed the union between the students’ and the workers’ movement, giving place to El Cordobazo rebellion.
