Decision on Criminal Charges. Warsaw, 4 December 1947 Lieutenant Marian Krawczyński, investigation officer of the Ministry of Public Security in Warsaw, after having examined the investigation materials in the case against PILECKI Witold, son of Julian, established that a./ In the period of time between July 1945 and 8 December 1945 in Italy and from that time until the day of his arrest, i.e. 8 May 1947 in Poland, acting against the Polish State as a paid agent of foreign intelligence service, operated by the Staff of the 2nd Corps of General Anders and pursuant to his orders, organized a spy network in the territory of Poland, recruiting as informers: Szturm de Sztrem Tadeusz, Sieradzki Makary, Różycki Witold, Skłodowski Stanisław, Czajkowski Antoni and others, maintaining permanent, personal operational contacts with the above-mentioned persons and managing their activities by issuing instructions and orders at clandestine locations in Warsaw at 85/6 Pańska St., 20/1 Skrzetuskiego St., and 16/8 Woronicza St., collected information and documents of a state and military secret nature acquired through political, military and economic intelligence work, such as information and documents on the location of the units of the Polish Army, their internal structure, transport movements of the Polish Army and the Allied Red Army, of the organization, activities and management cadres of the Ministry of Public Security and Citizens’ Militia (MO), information and documents characterizing the political situation inside the country, development and strength of influences of the Democratic Bloc, workers’ parties and youth movements, the economic structure of the country, achievements of national economy, development of foreign trade and information on the contents of the relevant trade agreements with the Allied countries such as the USSR, Bulgaria, Sweden and others. The above-mentioned materials, after their processing by a research office, preparation of general intelligence reports and corresponding photocopies, were delivered by him to the Staff of Anders’ 2nd Corps via the emissaries Płużanski Tadeusz, Niewiarowski Bolesław, aka “Lek”, Mierzejewska Jadwiga aka “Danuta” and the courier Wolf Maria aka “Elżbieta”. b./ In the period of time between November 1946 and his arrest, i.e., 8 May 1947, acting in Warsaw in cooperation with the members of the intelligence network Płużański Tadeusz, Kuchciński “Leszek”, Alchimowicz Wacław was conducting preparations for a violent, armed assault on the functionaries of the Ministry of Public Security. c./ In the period of time between July 1945 and his arrest, i.e., 8 May 1947, acting as a Polish citizen to the detriment of the Polish State, in connection with the activities described in item “a”, he received financial advantages in the form of 1,030 dollars from persons acting in the interest of a foreign government, namely from Colonel Kijak from the Anders’ 2nd Corps and the emissary Mierzejewska Jadwiga aka “Danuta”. d./ in the period of time between 8 December 1946 and his arrest, i.e., 8 May 1947, he was organizing weaponry stores in Warsaw – at 50, Śliska St., 85/6 Pańska St., 20/1 Skrzetuskiego Street, and stored without permission at the above locations weapons and ammunition
