Denmark Exhibition

When design as a concept is applied as a broad phenomenon by a number of actors, it is important not to lose the essence of craft and design. Working with materials manually and maintaining the visual, aesthetic, and sensory qualities of an object. Therefore, for the 2019 Cheongju Craft Biennale, we have chosen 15 works that emphasize working on various materials directly and draw out new material properties. The exhibition sheds light on designs and crafts that have been working on constantly approaching and working on materials in new ways at experimental and uncompromising levels. The level of the work should be kept and nurtured. The selected designers and craftsmen represent Denmark's wide craft sector, including Shinjin and experts. The reason for bringing them together is that they have made unique and experimental attempts in their field. He has pushed his material to the limit and challenged it, enriching details and sensory depth. Through this exhibition, we propose the excellence of sensory materials. Excellence can be difficult to judge and difficult to define, but once experienced in person, you will feel clearly right away.
