The Water Tower was built according to the projects of Budapest architects Comor Marcell and Jakab Dezső, from 1909 and was completed on June 15, 1910. It was built as a multipurpose building - the Water Tower, a main gate of the resort and a tram station for an electric tram introduced in 1897 on the relation Subotica - Palić and today represents the symbol of Palić town. It is part of protected cultural and historical heritage.
