D. João VI (Lisbon, May 13, 1767 - March 10, 1826), king of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves, and D. Carlota Joaquina (Aranjuez, April 25, 1775 - Queluz, January 7, 1830), his wife and Queen Consort of the Kingdom of Portugal and Algarves from 1816 to 1826, and also Queen Consort of the Kingdom of Brazil until 1822.
