A 1920 copper etching titled, Dom Utrecht by the Dutch artist Cornelius Brandenburg (1884-1954). The engraving depicts the 14th century church tower of St Maartens Cathedral in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Today, it is still considered the highest church tower in The Netherlands. Short Biography: Cornelis (Cor) Brandenburg was born in Wormerveer in The Netherlands in 1883. He studied at the Drawing School for Craft in 1890 and at the Academy for Fine Arts in Amsterdam. He started out as a ceramic painter at ‘de Distel’ factory from about 1903 and by the 1920s, he was a well-established graphic artist. Brandenburg passed away in Amsterdam in 1954.
