Artist Yu Wen-Fu is well known for working with feathers and bamboo. Inspired by the romantic gardens and lush greenery of this year’s exhibition setting, he wanted to capture this surreal feeling for his audience. Viewers take in the sight of thousands of thin bamboo pieces, brightly colored and hanging overhead in the woods. They are woven together in the shape of a gigantic donut, perhaps inspiring both confusion and wonder upon its viewers and a sure materialization of the dream the artist originally envisioned.
