Drawing of the New Arcozelo Parish Church

The new parish church, close to the original one, arose from the need to accommodate the growing number of worshippers, adopting a more up-to-date architectural language with an octagonal shape. The design is by the architect Mário Emílio de Azevedo, who was invited because of his special relationship with the parish.
